One of my girlfriend was baking a cake to celebrate one of her co-worker's birthday and she needed something to decorate it with. Since I knew her friend personally I decided to make her favourite flower...a gardenia.
I came home after one of Aaron's game late one night and had to get his uniform clean for the next morning so while I was waiting for it, I decided to make this flower.
Since we knew the lady was going to cherish the flower instead of eating it, it made better sense to use the gumpaste...as it dries harder and lasts longer. I used the large rose petal cutter for this flower and bud.
